Come and join our fun, hands on cooking classes at the beautiful and historic alexandria bed & breakfast in picturesque wynyard, north west tasmania. Private classes available get a group of 6 friends together and plan your very own private class at a time and date that suits you gift vouchers available. Complementary recipes are given to all students to take home. Each student is supplied with all cooking ingredients, their own individual gas stove, apron & utensils. Wine, juices, coffee & tea also included. Then the preparation and cooking begins, everyone sits down to eat together in the charming light filled dining room with roaring log fire, laughing and learning as we go. When the cooking is finished, talking, with everyone tasting, over looking the river. Classes are set in the character filled country style kitchen with students involved in every process along the way. Classes start with a complementary drink and a shared tasting plate. Be prepared to chop, cook and taste your way to a fun filled experience. We will aslo be offering other specialiaty classes including: cheese making, traditional artisan bread, cake decorating, chocolate & truffles, pasta & pizza. Other classes include: spanish tapas, middle eastern, vietnamese, thai, italian, indian & malaysian. Classses include: our very special class 'the tasmanian table' where you can experience cooking with the most delicious locally grown seasonal tasmanian produce.
